Holiday baking is one of the coziest parts of the season. These five gingerbread and Christmas cookie coloring pages are full of icing, candy and cookies, drawn with bold outlines and big shapes that are easy to color.
Color one while the cookies are in the oven, or print the set for a calm afternoon with a warm drink.
How to print
- Click Print PDF under the page you like.
- Use US Letter or A4 paper and choose Fit to page.
- Color with pencils, markers or crayons. Enjoy the quiet.
1. Gingerbread House
A gingerbread house with dripping icing on the roof, candy buttons, candy cane posts, a heart window, gumdrops and lollipop trees on a cake plate.

Coloring tip: Use a warm cinnamon brown for the walls and leave the icing white. Bright reds and greens make the candies pop.
2. Gingerbread Friends
Two smiling gingerbread cookies with icing trim, buttons, a bow tie and a hair bow, on a tray with star cookies and holly.

Coloring tip: Give the two cookies slightly different browns, and color the bow tie and hair bow in matching Christmas red.
3. Christmas Cookie Plate
A plate of iced cookies shaped like a star, a tree, a snowflake, bells and a mitten, next to a tall glass of milk and a sprig of holly.

Coloring tip: Color each cookie with a different icing color, like mint green, pale pink and light blue, and keep the cookie edges golden brown.
4. Holiday Baking Day
A baking board with a mixing bowl and whisk, a rolling pin on cookie dough, star, heart and tree cookie cutters, an egg and a sack of flour.

Coloring tip: Light wood tones for the board and rolling pin, a pastel bowl, and shiny red or silver cookie cutters look lovely.
5. Gingerbread Train
A gingerbread train with peppermint wheels, a candy cane smokestack and icing trim, pulling two cars loaded with cookies and gumdrops.

Coloring tip: Color the peppermint wheels with red swirls and give the gumdrops a rainbow of colors.
Before you print
Colored pencils work best on regular printer paper. If you like markers, print on thicker paper (cardstock) so the ink does not bleed through.
